Sound postcards dedicated to Leon Wyczółkowski’s works in the student “Radio Uniwersytet”
Radio workshops, within which the “Sound Postcards” will be produced, will be an illustration of selected artists’ paintings. The best of them will be broadcasted within the series of programs about Leon Wyczółkowski. “Sound Postcard” Competition. The offer was addressed to the Bydgoszcz students, secondary school students and residents of Bydgoszcz.

Leon Wyczółkowski National Landscape Painting Competition
It is addressed to visual artists working throughout the country. Every author can present up to three works. The jury will select three awarded works and present them at the post-competition exhibition. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalog of works.

Playing with the Arts
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT: STAGE I
- meetings in branches organized for children, youth and adults;
- participation in the class entitled “A Train Travel Across the Life and Work of Leon Wyczółkowski” organized by the Regional Museum of Bydgoszcz;
- artistic workshops, works on the “live paintings” presentation, “Retro Style” games taking place in 15 branches for children and youth of WiMBP in Bydgoszcz;
- Cultural corner which will present lectures given by art historians, art teachers, an exhibition of old photographs of Bydgoszcz and screening of a movie entitled “Chodzi nie o mnie, ile o lasy, góry, pola…” (It’s Not About Me, But About Forests, Mountains, and Fields…”), organized in ten branches for WiMBP adults in Bydgoszcz.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT: STAGE II
- trip to “Leon Wyczółkowski’s House”;
- artistic workshops in the WiMBP Main Library of Bydgoszcz;
- Final of the series of events entitled “Playing with the Arts”: presentation of “live paintings” prepared by children and youth taking place in activities in individual library branches, capturing of “live paintings” with the use of photographs, and establishing of an exhibition with artworks that have been made as well as replicas of Leon Wyczółkowski’s paintings.

The Blind with a Visit at Leon’s
Artistic workshops combined with integrating-educational meetings, which through activities stimulate the blind and vision impaired. Activities: visiting the Museum, following the traces of Leon – a trip to Gościeradz, Wtelno, artistic workshops, and educational meetings at the Municipal Culture Center.

Workshops for young people and adults in workshop graphic art studios.
Activities in graphic art studios are run by experienced graphic artists, teachers of the Art High School in Bydgoszcz (Ewa Gordon, Jarosław Nowak). Topics of the projects will be inspired by the work of Leon Wyczółkowski.

Master Leon’s Procession
Master Leon’s Procession in search of a lost place for the monument was prepared by the State Complex of Art Schools Student Self-government. During the parade, the procession stopped in front of the Municipal Office, the Leon Wyczółkowski Regional Museum, and the BWA City Gallery. On behalf of students, the delegation handed over to the municipal authorities and representatives of visited institutions a letter with a request to support the initiative focused on building a monument/bust in Bydgoszcz dedicated to the patron of the high school.

Exhibition “Around the Donation of Franciszka and Leon Wyczółkowski”
The exhibition presents the donation of Franciszka Wyczółkowska to the City of Bydgoszcz. In 1937, Leon Wyczółkowski’s widow donated to the Municipal Museum, in accordance with the artist’s will, a collection of his works – oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, drawings and graphic artworks as well as personal memorabilia, studio equipment and furniture.

The exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of Leon Wyczółkowski along with multimedia presentation "Aditorium Novum" on 7 S. Kalińskiego Street. It was opened during the 3rd International Bridge Conference "Bridges – Tradition and Progress" on May 14 – 19, 2012 thanks to the efforts of the Society of the Friends of the City of Bydgoszcz.

Introduction of Impressionist elements from Leon Wyczółkowski’s paintings to the scenery of Bydgoszcz. A spatially interpreted painting tissue will cover selected objects on the city streets (lamp posts, benches, railings, and plaques), making the space more lively and colorful.

12th session of the council of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship on the occasion of the Region Festival
On the occasion of the continued Year of Children’s Rights and the Year of Leon Wyczółkowski, employees of the Regional Museum in Bydgoszcz prepared a lecture regarding children in the artist’s work.
Concert given by Capella Bydgostiensis in the Parish Church of Saint Michael the Archangel of Wtelno
Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra, Anna Wilk, soprano. The program of the concert will feature the most beautiful compositions of Ave Maria (Bach-Gounod, Schubert, Caccini, and Donizetti) as well as music pieces by Handel, Mozart, Dvorak, and Tchaikovsky.
