Being a Guest of Wyczółkowski – Bydgoszcz Art Granary 2012

Professional artists will present for two days their performances, inspiring spectators to their own performances on the third day of the action. A sign highlighting the Year of Leon Wyczółkowski will be flags on selected streets of Bydgoszcz with replicas of the artist’s works. Residents of Leona Wyczółkowskiego Street will mount replicas of these works on façades of their homes.

Leona Wyczółkowskiego Street Festival in Bydgoszcz – history and architecture

Competition – “What do you know about the street’s patron?”; An outdoor event – “Leona Wyczółkowskiego Street Festival; “Leona Wyczółkowskiego Street Publication in Bydgoszcz – history and architecture.” The event will be organized on the school sports field or/and Leona Wyczółkowskiego Street. Presentations will include the history of individual houses and the artist’s biography.

Scientific conference, competition and a 5-day culture-related camp for students of the Bydgoszcz higher education schools, combined with field studies and artistic workshops of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Photography operating at the Museum of Photography. These activities are conducted in the local community of Gościeradz, a village with ties to Leon Wyczółkowski.
