Medal “The Year of Leon Wyczółkowski – Bydgoszcz 2012”
Medal “The Year of Leon Wyczółkowski – Bydgoszcz 2012.” The obverse features an image of the artist, the reverse – an inscription “The Year of Leon Wyczółkowski – Bydgoszcz 2012,” and in the center – the Coat of Arms of Bydgoszcz. A brass medal coated with silver, galvanized, 7 cm in diameter. The medal commemorates the jubilee celebrations, continuing similar medal-making traditions originated in 1985.
It is made for people who have rendered great service in researching the life and work of Leon Wyczółkowski and for initiatives related to the Year of Leon Wyczółkowski in Bydgoszcz.

"Leon Wyczółkowski – Impressions from Pomerania"
The exhibition was established having the residents of the region in mind. It was presented in the museums of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The exhibition constitutes an important contribution in shaping the knowledge on art, popularizing the artistic activity of Leon Wyczółkowski. The collected and presented group of watercolors, drawings and graphic artworks provides a unique opportunity, not only for residents of Bydgoszcz, but the entire region, to learn about lithographic technique and the individual style of the artist. Artworks show architectural motifs and landscapes, which are well known to residents of our region. Schedule of traveling exhibits: May – the Museum in Brodnica, June – the Rev. Władysław Łęga Museum in Grudziądz, July – the Museum of the Pałuki Land in Żnin, August – the Jan Kasprowicz Museum in Inowrocław, September – the Museum of the Kuyavia and Dobrzyń Land in Włocławek, October – the Museum of the Chełmno Land in Chełmno, November – the Regional Museum in Toruń, December – the Leon Wyczółkowski Regional Museum in Bydgoszcz.
