Flat print technique, a type of lithography. Algraphy is also described as a lithographic print made from aluminum plates. Drawing is made just like in lithography, on a stone. The process differs by preparation of aluminum sheet and its treatment (use of different preparations). Drawing is applied on a grinded, grainy plate covered by photosensitive material. This technique allows to obtain a high gradation of stain washed by ink and fineness of pencil drawing. Prints from aluminum sheet are made on lithographic, copperplate and offset presses.
